Our sale continues this weekend in the Rectory from 9:30-12:30. Our delicious placek goes fast! Saint Adalbert’s chocolatiers will also be selling their famous Last Supper as well as some other smaller Easter chocolates, all made with Ghirardelli chocolate.
Please note that next week, on Palm Sunday, the sale will take place from the Saint Katharine Drexel School Hall, a short drive from SJK. In addition, St John Kanty Troop 107 will hold an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast with Basket Raffle following 10 a.m. Palm Sunday Mass at Saint Katharine’s. Breakfast takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go towards camping expenses, which have escalated over the years. Please support our troop if you can. Tickets will be available at the door: $10.
On Holy Saturday at 12 noon Bishop Michael Fisher will be blessing Easter foods and Easter baskets. It’s always a special time to see what people include in their baskets and to enjoy the good smells that permeate the church! All are welcome to share in this cherished Catholic tradition…bring family and friends…you will definitely create some wonderful memories!
