A popular old custom on the Feast of Assumption is blessing the sources of harvest. Taking the earth’s bounty and offering it up in a sacred place has gone on for millenniums.
At Mass on Sunday, August 13, Fr Cole blessed these offerings from parishioners and Mother Earth.
