Holy Thursday: The Tradition of Visiting 7 Churches

If you carry out the beautiful tradition of visiting seven churches on Holy Thursday, you should click the link below to see which churches are open for visitation:

From the Broadway Fillmore Alive website: https://broadwayfillmorealive.org/2.0/2021/03/one-night-seven-churches-holy-thursday-april-1-2021/

If you are unable to make the Holy Thursday pilgrimage, you may be interested in purchasing the book: Seven Churches: A Holy Thursday Tradition. Featured in the book, an inspiration when churches were closed due to Covid-19, are St John Kanty, St Adalbert, St Stanislaus, Corpus Christi, St Casimir, St Luke’s, and St Columba Brigid. A portion of the sale will be donated to these churches. It is something nice to have for your personal library as well as hand down to the family as a keepsake memento of some of Buffalo’s oldest, most beautiful churches!

Kanty’s Kitchen, home of Team Pierogi & Team Placek, is closed for ‘the season’! Last weekend we sold out of everything and have made the decision to close the kitchen a week early…
We thank the ladies and gentlemen, both parishioners and non-parishioners, who have worked two days a week since mid January to make pierogi, as well as several more days during Lent to make placek.

We have appreciated the support of our old friends and our many new friends.
Have a wonderful Easter season, filled with all of your favorites: family…friends…and customs!

EVERYONE for your continued weekly support of our Parish…it is truly appreciated!

As we approach the holiest week of the year, we hope you will join us at Saint John Kanty to share in the continued traditions of Holy Week…
