Please consider having a Mass said for your loved one! Remember your loved ones who have passed away, for special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries), and for those who are ill. The Mass stipend is $15 per Mass. Contact the rectory during morning office hours to schedule your intentions…or go to this link: www.saintjohnkanty.com/mass-intentions/

Be sure to look at our prayer list in the bulletin…there are many people to pray for! Please remember to pray for those who you promised to, those who have no one to pray for them, and those requests that remain silent out of fear or embarrassment. Call the parish office during regular office hours to add or remove a name to our parish prayer list (716/893-0412).

You can also arrange for a Mass by going to this link on our website: http://www.saintjohnkanty.com/mass-intentions/

THANK YOU for your continued support…we truly appreciate it!

TAKING PLACE AT OUR FAMILY OF PARISHES DURING LENT:

at Saint Katharine Drexel 10-10:30, Fridays during Lent

What is Centering Prayer? Briefly, Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. (from http://www.centeringprayer.com/)

Gorzkie Zale (Bitter Lamentations) Sundays at 1 p.m. at St Stan’s and at 3 p.m. at St. John Gualbert.

Stations of the Cross Fridays at Saint John Gaulbert, Saint Stanislaus and Corpus Christi at 6 p.m. (Saint Stan’s and Corpus Christi alternate weeks between Polish and English).

How does the Renewal team determine decisions in the Diocese and what do these trends mean for the future? Using the data gathered from parish reports and from parishioners through the Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) survey that was completed last year, the Renewal team is able to create trends to understand where parishes and the Diocese will be going in the next 5-10 years.
