On the first Friday of the month: Mass is offered at 8:30 followed by the Rosary and Adoration

of the Blessed Sacrament

Mass Intentions

Please consider having a Mass said for your loved one! Remember those who have passed away, for special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries), and for those who are ill. We are now offering lighting of votive candles with your prayer intention by mail and online. For a $5 donation a votive candle will be lighted and your prayer intention stated at Mass, with a blessing on the second Sunday of each month. The candle would remain lit for three days. You are encouraged to attend Mass on second Sunday!


 

April is the month of showers, National Volunteer Month, AND the opportunity to recognize and thank our many loyal volunteers at Saint John Kanty/Saint Adalbert! Know that your volunteer activities have a very positive effect on our parishioners, visitors and all connected with our churches…you are essential to our being!

 

 


 

Saturday April 20, 5:30 p.m.: Special Mass at Saint Adalbert’s celebrating the Feast of Saint Adalbert and honoring the 125th Anniversary of the Chopin Singing Society!

Sunday, April 21: The Saint John Kanty Rosary Society will resume monthly meetings on Sunday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m. in the Rectory. We are inviting and encouraging women from all of the Greater East Buffalo Family of Churches to join us. Light refreshments will be served.

Mother’s Day Plant Sale sponsored by Saint John Kanty/Saint Adalbert Rosary Society!

Purchase a Peace lily (an indoor plant) in a 4-inch pot for your mom, grandmother, wife, mother-in-law or other special person in your life, or offer the plant as a memorial for your deceased mother, grandmother, or mother-in-law. Memorial plants will have the name of your loved one on the plant and can be taken home following Mass or left at the altar. All plants will be blessed at Mass on Mother’s Day. Plants can also be picked up the day before (with advance arrangements) but will not be blessed.
