We hope you will join us for Mass during the Christmas season! The church decorations will remain in place until Epiphany: January 6. Reportedly the infant pictured was part of the nativity scene where the devastating 3 alarm fire of ’55 started.
“The pink dress worn by the Infant Jesus is a small detail that links to the birth of King Solomon and fulfills messianic images. It emphasizes his real humanity while also signifying his heavenly origin, priestly, and royal majesty.”
Confirmation classes for high school students start Sunday, January 5 at 11:30 following 10:30 Mass at St Katharine Drexel. See the bulletin for further information.
Scouting is adventure – life skills – leadership!
If you know a boy between the ages of 11-17 who would like to join scouting: St John Kanty Troop 107 is welcoming new members. You do not need to be a cub scout to join. Meetings resume Tuesday, January 7 from 7-8 at St Katharine Drexel in the rectory (enter using the door from the parking lot on the right of the church). Attend the meeting or for further information contact parishioner Scott Wegst 716: 445-5649.

Mass Intentions
Please consider having a Mass said for your loved one! Remember those who have passed away, for special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries), and for those who are ill. Mass intentions are now available for our Saturday Vigil Mass!
There are many Mass dates still available in 2024. Intentions may be for the living, deceased (noted by a Cross in the bulletin), or a special intention. The suggested donation is $15 for a Mass.
Contact the rectory (716/893-0412) weekday mornings between 8:00-11:00 to schedule your intentions…or go to this link: www.saintjohnkanty.com/mass-intentions/
THANK YOU for your continued support to our parish…we truly appreciate it!
