February 18: The Spiritual Life Pillar is organizing a Lenten Agape Soup Brunch, which will take place in the vestibule of St. Adalbert’s on February 18. We invite all parish family members to stop by after all morning Masses! At 10:30 am, 11:45 am, & 1:15 p.m. we will be doing a sneak peak at the upcoming Life in the Eucharist seminar (which will start the following Wednesday Feb 21), followed by a presentation on St. Adalbert’s church history. If interested, please sign up on the sign-up sheet at the back of the church by Feb 12 – just so we get a rough idea on how much soup to make. But if you cannot commit by the sign-up deadline please still stop by anyway – we will try to make some extra soup to have enough for everyone!
Greater East Buffalo Family of Churches Website is Up and Running!
“Great news! The family website is up and running! Please see the fruits of your labors with the calendar and the online giving section!”
Click on this link to go to the new, user friendly website: https://www.eastbuffalocatholic.org/
As stated by Fr Cole: a joint calendar that is printable, as well as the online giving section, are now readily accessible by all parishioners and friends! Our joint Family bulletin will soon be available.
You can now also access each church’s website from the new site.
Please consider having a Mass said for your loved one! Remember those who have passed away, for special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries), and for those who are ill. The Mass stipend is $15 per Mass. Contact the rectory during morning office hours to schedule your intentions…or go to this link: www.saintjohnkanty.com/mass-intentions/
Be sure to look at our prayer list in the bulletin…there are many people to pray for! Please remember to pray for those who you promised to, those who have no one to pray for them, and those requests that remain silent out of fear or embarrassment. Call the parish office during regular office hours to add or remove a name to our parish prayer list (716/893-0412).
You can also arrange for a Mass by going to this link on our website: https://www.saintjohnkanty.com/mass-intentions/
