Our 125th Anniversary on November 19 will begin with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 1:00 p.m. celebrated by Bishop Richard Malone, followed by dinner and entertainment at The Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. Dinner tickets are on sale now by calling or emailing the rectory (www.stjohnkantybflo.com; 9-noon, Mon-Fri).  Tickets will also be available in the vestibule before Masses starting  September 21-22. Dinner tickets are $40 each and include hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar from 3 p.m.-4 p.m., followed by a family style dinner of soup, salad, pork chops, mashed potatoes, carrots, kapusta, beef jardinière, cake/ice cream and coffee. Wine is included with dinner. Following the meal our favorite Polka band, Rare Vintage, will provide music for dancing. Deadline to purchase tickets is November 5. We will be able to offer group seating by request. Although we are doing extensive advertising…please spread the word about the Mass and dinner to your family and friends with past connections to SJK…we would love to pack the pews, see old friends and meet new friends…ALL ARE WELCOME!
