side-125

All parishioners, alumni and friends of St John Kanty are invited to join us at 10:30 Mass on November 20 for the opening event/Mass of the year long celebration for our 125th Anniversary year. Fr Louis Klein, a graduate of St John Kanty School, is the principal celebrant. Mass will be concelebrated by Fr Henry Orszulak (SJK grad), Fr Romulus Rosolowski (SJK grad), Fr Walter Matuszak (our faithful ‘Morning Man’) and Fr Paul Sabo (a retired Diocesan priest who has faithfully served our Parish over the past several years). At this Mass, which takes place on Christ the King Sunday, a new crown will be placed on our Infant of Prague. Also at this Mass a song written by Mr Larry Maguda, our music director, will be sung for the first time. The song is based on our anniversary theme of ‘We Remember – We Celebrate – We Believe’.

Following Mass a reception will take place in Kanty’s Kitchen. All are invited to attend our opening Mass and reception, as well as the many events that will take place this year, culminating in Mass celebrated by Bishop Malone on Sunday, November 19, 2017, with reception to follow at The Millennium.
