New Equipment Purchased by St. John Kanty Choir!

Because of aging equipment and some breakdowns, the Choir made the decision to purchase four new microphones, a mixer and two new speakers for the choir loft. The new equipment was purchased totally with funds from the Choir treasury. To all those who have supported our Choir fundraisers over the years (sale of Entertainment Books and the annual Easter Basket Raffle on Palm Sunday) THANK YOU!  We hope the new mics and mixer will result in the congregation hearing and enjoying our prayerful songs even more than you already do, and the new speakers will allow US to hear The Word better, too! Special thanks to Richard Cislo and Caroline Easton who have for a long time worked so hard on promoting our fundraisers!

In addition to the above, the Folk Group, singing the second Saturday of each month, has received another mic as well as a ‘tuneup’ to the existing equipment.

Much credit is given to Bob Mejak, Robert Mark Audio (http://www.robertmarkaudio.com/portfolio.htm), who we have worked with since January. Bob is a creative and thorough craftsman, a ‘genius’ to quote someone who previously worked with him, and we are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him to enhance our liturgies.
