MASS MOB III IS COMING TO ST JOHN KANTY ON MARCH 23!

The tribe has spoken… In competition with three other old and beautiful churches in the City of Buffalo (Holy Angels, St. Casimir and St. Anthony), St. John Kanty received the most votes to host Mass Mob III at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, March 23. We are honored by the support put forth not only by our parishioners but also by friends and family from as far away as England, Poland, Spain, Mexico, all over the USA, and maybe even the Space Station!

What is a Mass Mob? Buffalo Mass Mob was formed several years ago and will, in grassroots fashion, allow you to experience some of Buffalo’s wonderful churches in need of a boost. The concept is simple. Buffalo Mass Mob’s hope is to help create more awareness and appreciation for sacred sites in Western New York through the simple act of experiencing them in their intended purpose and encourage people to attend Mass more at Buffalo’s historic churches. The organizers include St. John Kanty school grad and staunch supporter of the Broadway-Fillmore area, Christopher Byrd. The Mass Mob concept spread rapidly throughout the USA following the second Mass Mob held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in January, 2014 (the first was held at St. Adalbert in November, 2013). More Mass Mobs are planned; further information can be found at http://buffalomassmob.wordpress.com/

Come experience first hand the Mass Mob concept…join us for Mass, coffee and cake to follow. There is a pew for you!
