Holy Week at St. John Kanty Includes Tenebrae, an Ancient and Moving Liturgy

Come to St. John Kanty for Tenebrae: an ancient and moving liturgy that leads us into the overwhelming feeling of reverence for the story of Christ dying on the cross for the  redemption of our sins. Come prepare yourself to join with Christ in his journey from Gethsemane to Calvary and onto our salvation with his Resurrection. Tenebrae will take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m.  St. John Kanty is one of the few churches offering the opportunity to experience this ancient tradition. All are welcome to join us for this solemn beginning of our Holy Week journey. This presentation will consist of hymns under the direction of Mr. Lawrence Maguda, Choir Director, and readings by St. John Kanty’s Ministers of the Word.
