CONGRATULATIONS TO STELLA SOVINSKI, RECIPIENT OF THE ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER AWARD!

Our parish family joins in congratulating Mrs. Stella Sovinski, who received the Lay Award of St. Joseph the Worker in recognition of her many years of unselfish labors on behalf of our Parish. The award was conferred by Bishop Malone on Sunday May 4 during Mass in St. Joseph Cathedral. Mrs. Stella has sung in our church choir for many years. She is a key member of Team Pierogi as well as all of our events involving kitchen service. Again for many years, she has voluntarily laundered the altar linens and until very recently assisted with folding the bulletin. She is a strong presence on the decorating committee. Mrs. Stella is the devoted mom of three daughters, all grads of our school, grandmother of two, and great grandma to six. Many will also remember her presence as crossing guard on the corner of Broadway and Brownell Streets. Mrs. Stella…you continue to be a leader and good friend to all!
