Sunday, October 15: Polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. with music by Rare Vintage. After Mass come over to Kanty’s Kitchen, where we will be serving homemade beef rollups, homemade sides & homemade desserts from 11:30 until 4 or sold out. Takeout available. Theme baskets, raffles & more. KEEP CALM AND LISTEN TO POLKA MUSIC…ALL ARE WELCOME: BRING FAMILY & FRIENDS for some delicious foods!

 

 


October 28-29: Soup Sale in the Vestibule! Take home a quart of homemade soup to enjoy…many varieties, and there will be some other homemade treats that you will enjoy!

 

 


November 19: 125th Anniversary Mass Followed by Dinner at The Millennium!
At 1 p.m. Bishop Richard Malone, along with graduates of the church school, will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving to commemorate 125 years as a parish community. Following Mass dinner and dancing will take place at the Millennium Hotel in Cheektowaga. Dinner tickets are now on sale in the can be purchased by calling the church rectory (893-0412 – 9-noon, Mon-Fri), purchasing in the vestibule before weekend Masses (4 p.m. Saturday; 10:30 a.m. Sunday), or by using this link: http://www.saintjohnkanty.com. November 5 is the deadline to purchase tickets. The cost is $40 and includes hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. followed by a family style dinner of soup, salad, pork chops, beef jardinière, mashed potatoes, carrots, sweet and sour cabbage, cake/ice cream and coffee. Wine from Chateau Buffalo is included with your meal. Following dinner Rare Vintage will provide music for dancing. Group seating is available upon request. We extend a warm invitation to former parishioners and school graduates to attend these events on November 19…we would love to have you, your family, your classmates celebrate with us!
