polish-1Thanks to those alumni who came out to support our Polish Platter Dinner on January 15…we had lots of praise for the dinner elements! Lots of alumni working the kitchen: thanks to Diane, Camille, Esther, Sally, Christopher, Janis, Helen, Barb, Dolores, Irene, Alice – great job cooking and serving!

St John Kanty Museum. Carpeting will soon be laid in the two rooms in the Parish Center to display church and school memorabilia.  We anticipate a start date in late February for getting together to look over what we have. Anyone wishing to help with organizing and setting up the memorabilia is asked to leave a message on the Anniversary ‘hotline’: 716/253-1160.  A 125th Anniversary Project!

Join us for February in the Foyer! Every weekend in February the St. John Kanty foyer will be the place to visit before or after Mass. We are hosting a variety of opportunities to support our parish. Each weekend the 2017 Mass book will be in the foyer so you can easily reserve Masses for a loved one or a special occasion.  Mass offerings are $15 each. March 1st is the beginning of Lent, a special time of prayer and a perfect time to remember a special loved one who has gone on to heaven to be with Jesus. Our first week-end in February will feature a sale of new and gently used religious items. Watch the bulletin and website for details of each weekend’s events, or just stop by and visit us in the foyer…we hope to see you there!

90th-anniversary9071On Sunday February 5 at the 10:30 Mass Troop 107 will celebrate Scout Sunday. An invitation is extended to all former members of the Troop to attend Mass, followed by refreshments in the Parish Center and a tour of the scout room. Troop 107…here at SJK for over 90 years!
